As our dances classes are due to start this month, our lives are 95% back to normal. The only thing holds us from doing is long distance travelling, which we miss so much. Having said that, now is a great time to enjoy our own “backyard”, as there are far fewer foreigners, and thus a better quality of experience.
It has been a long while since I tried on a pair of Pierre Mantoux tights. Their Veloutine range left me with very good impression, but the Rosalind tights, from one of the trend collections was under par. In this review, I’d like to look into one of their solid colour sheer tights – the EFFET 25.
To all my readers, I wish you a splendid start in the year 2020💝🌅
May is usually one of the quietest months of the year. There is less news, and the only major celebration/promotion is Mother’s day in some countries. I would say it is the less busy moment for retailers before the end-of-season sale kicks off in June, like the quietness before thunderstorm. For me, it is an intensive month of testing and reviewing, before I take my mum on a cruise on the other side of the globe.
I was quite pleased with Pierre Mantoux’s quality on their Veloutine range. So I decided to try their patterned tights and bought one from UK Tights. The outcome didn’t go as expected though…
We have not had a single drop of rain since New Year’s Day and the temperature has been soaring. I could not have think a better condition to test ultra-sheer tights, and it turned out that I have one in stock – the Veloutine 0 tights from Pierre Mantoux.
Yes you heard it right. ilovehosiery is now upgraded to WordPress premium account. I have yet to fine-tune the website, but it is in my to-do list, so stay tuned.
I have been following Pierre Mantoux for some time mainly due to their exquisite designs. However, I wasn’t too sure about their quality, so I bought a couple pairs of basic styles during the UK Tights promotion of the brand. This is one of them – the Veloutine 15 tights.
If you live in Europe or in a metropolis, chances are you have plenty of brands and stores (both online and retail) to choose from. What if you live outside of the E.U., or the brand you like doesn’t ship to your place of residence? That’s what I am going to talk about today – online retailers I frequently visit.
Some brands have launched a seperate collection as the festive season draws closer. In addition to sparkling garments and hosiery, those crafted from laces also seem to be one of the favourites. The Pierre Mantoux’s Poeme collection and some of the Wolford’s new arrivals are an example. If you are not quite sure what to wear for the coming party season, their contents may give you some insight.
