Review: Hēdoïne the BOLD 60 Denier tights

Hey hosiery lovers, I am back 😊 and I have quite a number of styles that I’d like to share with you all…
Wolford has just released a capsule collection, which they collaborated with Adidas.
How is everyone? We just came out of the second lockdown. It all happened when a family of locals were tested positive for COVID-19. The cluster rose to more than 100 cases in the course of two weeks. It is now contained, though the origin is still known. We now wear face masks whenever we go to public places, as a precaution.
Last October, Wolford updated their Velvet de Luxe 66 tights to include an extra wide waistband. I finally got my hands on a pair of these. So without further ado, let’s have a look into this edition.
After several months of staying at home for most of the time, we finally went for a short break and stayed in a yurt. The place is so rural that there is almost no cellular network. This mean no Internet, no phone calls, and no disturbance. We soaked ourselves in the hot tube under the starry night; watched the fire burn inside the fireplace and made our minds blank. It was rejuvenating before we were back to the fast-paced modern world again.
Falke revised the Seidenglatt range back in 2018. The new version includes hosiery in 15, 40 and 80 denier. We previously looked at tights in 15 and 40 denier, of which were quite different from each other in a lot of ways. In this review, I would like to look into the 80 denier tights. This will also be the last review for the series for now.
I am as excited as you are that we are looking into a pair of knee-highs for a change. The style is from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection. It is named Stargaze Knee-Highs, yet it is more than just a pair of knee-highs…
While the country is in the state of lockdown, Hēdoïne has been secretly working on a new product from home.
ilovehosiery has always been keen on sustainable hosiery. Last month, we looked at Gipsy’s Eco Recycled Yarn tights. In this article, we will look into another pair of tights made from recycled yarn – 50 Denier Recycled Yarn Tights from Pamela Mann.
SHOOTS, the name of the style, combines the BEL80 tights with a trainer-style sole. It is opaque (80 denier) and matt. Like all Bataillon Belette styles, there is a small embroidered heart on the left thigh – a trademark of the Brand.
